Overnight. When I was pregnant with my first baby I got a bit stuck (OK, gimme a break I had a week to go) and my husband had already gone to bed and didn't hear me shouting for him to help me. I spent the night (not very comfortably) in the bath trying to top it up every so often with warm water. It's actually quite funny now, but it really wasn't at the time.

When I was a serving police officer working from home I was on the 6pm - 2am shift. I left home at 10 pm after my break and my wife who was 8 months pregnant went for a bath.

I was on patrol until 2am and when I got back home I found my wife was still in the bath after four hours. She had been wedged there because of her size.

She was a bit wrinkly but nice and clean and otherwise non the worse for the experience.

About 30 mins. Often plan the whole pampering/staying in the bath for hours, but I have a low boredom threshold and give up after 30 mins!!

Around 2 hours

I was in labour decided the best thing to do was have a nice warm bath, but landed up actually giving birth in the bath!

Does that count?

About 45mins. My husband took my 2 young daughters to the park and I hadn't pampered myself in the bath since my daughter, who is 5, was born. I made a hot drink, sandwich and read a really good book. Mmmmm heaven.

Only about 20 minutes! I can't sit still any longer than that, sitting still is time wasted (my kids call me the tornado and tell me to sit down a lot, no wonder I have high BP!)

Well, Raha, it depends on who I am in it with!! For sheer laziness, I just don't rate baths, I prefer to stay in bed with chocolates, telly, digie box, electtric blanket, man, fags, drink, candles at a push (wrinkles dear) !! Try it .. ..
