Of this group Drew is the best choice. None will carry you as a starter but Drew has plenty of upside and has the tools to become very good very quickly. Before you pick one of these guys up (again Drew is the only one with a big upside) see if Khalil Greene is available (he is in most leagues). There has never been a question about his bat....it is one of the better SS bats in the game, he just cant stay healthy long enough to display his talent. However this spring he has been healthy and has put up monster numbers this spring. If he stays healthy he will be a top 10 fantasy SS. Otherwise go with Drew, he is likely on many guys radar and if he gets off to a good start someone will grab him quickly.

I would pick up Wilson Betemit of the LAD. He will be the starting 3B for the Dodgers plus he gives you options at 3 positions in case of inhury. I like his bat too as he hit 18 hr's last year with 53 rbi's which is pretty good considering last year he was pretty much a part timer so the possibility of 20-25 hrs with 70-75 rbi's is not that big of a stretch.

If he isn't available I would go after Betancourt of SEA who maybe in 5 years will be the next Tejada. He has wonderful defensive skills but the trade off is his bat hasn't caught up yet but it will.
I think he will surprise some people.

Drew is overrated in how high he is listed he is and a couple of years away that is why I would avoid him, he has potential but not right now.
Wilson is somewhat injury prone and Hill is a throw away type player, he will be there months from now.

I hope I answered your question and Good Luck!

I would go with Betemit. He offers you the most flexibilty in your line-up and I will be totally shocked if he doesnt put up at least É. Rentería type numbers. Even when Furcal returns I believe WB will still find playing time somewhere on the field.

Betemit will play some while Furcal is ailing. None of those seem very appealing choices, however. There's got to be someone better. Is Vizquel available?
