Person I know went into the air force for twenty years. While in there he just had to do his job and then go to barracks to live. Got out after 20 years of service with a nice pention check every month. Now he is in his 40's and still lives home with his parents. Why doesn't he want to get on his own. He never married. What do you think is the problem

Is he having a problem or are you? If him and his parents are ok with the arrangement I dont see any problem. He seems to be living the life he wants. Is there some reason you feel he should be doing something else? The only problem I see is someone butting in who has nothing to do with this....unless your one of the parents, and if you are you should ask him straight out.

Hard question to answer as there are many details left out here. Is he staying with his parents to financially help them out. Or is it in his best interest to stay put? It definitely doesnt sound like hes not moving out because he cant afford it. Sure does sound like some kind of arrangement made with his parents for future possibilities.

He obviously is safe and happy where he is and until he finally meets that someone special he doesn't want to change his life.
