I was once asked "When did you become an adult?" and I often answer "the day I had to put my hand in the toilet to clear a clog (while there was something in there) YIKES!
But if you are not ready for adulthood just yet, you have a couple of options.
a) Let it sit for awhile. If it is paper, the paper might get soft enough after an hour or so that it goes away on its own (or with a flush).
b) Liquid Plumber or some other chemical ($4 at the store). It will eat through whatever is in there and hopefully clear it out.
c) A plunger. A simple little thing available just about everywhere (I think even 7-11) and you give it a couple of good shoves and then flush.
d) Become an adult. Be a MAN! Get your hand in there and clear it out!
Good luck.

pour a bucket of BOILING water into the toilet, and don't worry about cracking the bowl, it won't. The stoppage should start to go down. Then pour more BOILING water into it. It should work, it did for me..

with a plunger!!
For really bad clogs (my son tried to flush an entire roll of TP down once...ugh!), you will probably need some of those latex gloves that go up to your elbow and a large bucket...gross...

get a plunger if that doesn't work, call your super or a plumber & they will bring in something called a "snake". Its this odd shaped gadget that forces itself down in there & hauls out whatever needs to come out.
Its gross, but it works.
