I don't think that the physical part feels any different. But, she did marry you for who you are. Foreskin and everything. Why would you wanna put yourself through so much pain? This is normally a choice that is made by the parents when the boy is born, usually 2-3 days after birth. That is when we had our son done, when he was 3 days old. And the pain, crying that he was in I could not imagine a grown man doing that.
I think that you should speak with your wife, and make sure that this is something you really want to do. You have had it your whole life, why would you want to change it now? Unless you have some sort of condition and the only way for you to get better is to get circumcised, then you have answered your question already.
Good luck in any decision that you make.

I highly advice against it. It will be very painful and as an adult, it the healing process is long and painful. In addition, more scarring and disfigurement takes place on an adult's penis.
You will loose sexual sensitivity and sex will never ever be the same. It is common for adult men who have been circumcised as an adult to be unable to reach an orgasm. Imagine how frustrating that can be. Remember circumcision is going to remove your most sensitive sexual areas filled with thousands of nerve cells. Overall, you will loose out big time after a circumcision.
It is not cleaner at all because all you have to do is use soap and water. In fact, insurance companies in the US classify it as cosmetic surgery.
Circumcision is rare in Europe and the number of circumcised men in Canada has decreased substantially to about 10%. According to world statistics about 82% of the men are intact. Thus, you will be in the global minority if you choose to undergo the surgery. Australia in the last 15 years has turned around completely as only a minority get circumcised. In fact, foreskin restoration is a growing market for those who were unfortunate to get circumcised when they were babies. Things are changing on the west coast in the US. California's yearly circumcision rate has decreased to 40%. Other states in the west coast are following California.
In the resources below, take a look at some of the pictures of adult circumcision. In addition, please do a lot of research before you decided on this cosmetic surgery. Doesn't your wife love you the way you are?

I don't like it at all. Sex feels much better with foreskin. Plus I think that manual stimulation is a big pain in the *** when there's no foreskin. Visually I couldn't care either way.
You will lose a lot of sexual nerves with a circumcision. You may not like it very much, and it will take a while to adjust. The head of your penis will rub on your clothes and irritate you for the first few months.
Do it for you, not for someone else.
ADD:
For all the chicks who say it's cleaner to be cut, you must have been with some very dirty guys! Who doesn't wash their penis? Cut or not, it's like washing any other body part.
You know, your vaginas would be cleaner if there were no labia, why not cut them off for sanitary reasons...
absurd isn't it?
Second add:
There is a negligible difference between rate of urinary tract infection in the circumcised man and the intact man. The risk of STD has no variance at all. There was one study that was done recently in Africa that stated that circumcision lowers the risk of AIDS, but that study was proven to be fabricated. Condoms and responsible sex are the best prevention far beyond what that study claims.

Hmmm, well honestly- it doesn't make a huge difference sexually. I think the only time it's a big difference is for oral sex. And I don't think it's unpleasurable at all for a woman if you aren't circumcised.
I am concerned though are you doing this more for yourself or for your wife? If you want to be circumcised then go for it- you don't need to do it for anyone but yourself. I guess it's a good gift if she really has a problem with you not having one.
You should probably stick with someone more traditional for your anniversary. Take her on a vacation or something- spend your money more wisely.

I think your respondent dothepun guy is off his rocker. All of those sites he noted ---- prove nothing. There are sites for all sorts of sins, real and imagined, on any subject you wish.... so don't be too impressed.... There is even a group called RECAP which is another outfit ( in California, where else) of imagined mutilation. And Anne whoever is truly weird. Hon, see your doc, and talk with your guy friends. It is a health issue more than anything else. If after you have informed yourself, go for it. I have know several adult men friends friends who will tell you there is no reduced sensation, none, zero. And you can be sure if there were reduced sensation, this would never have been done.... no way would any man from the beginning of time to now allow his son to be circumcised if there was going to be a difference.... but again, talk to you doc.... he/she is your best authority. And, see a urologist too, for an even more exact opinion.

Elizabeth, this recent report completely disagree with you about no loss of sensitivity
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x
It stands to reason that circumcision greatly reduces the sensitivity on the penis head. Most uncircumcised males find it too sensitive, too painful to have the exposed penis head rubbing on normal underwear all day, YET a circumcised penis head does not. So clearly the circumcised penis head is alot less sensitive
The penis ejaculates from frictional rubbing. A vagina/anus is alot less rough and has alot less friction than normal underwear...
id advise against circumcision. Read and speak with men whove had the operation in adult or women who have had both.

Yahoo answers is a great research source, just look in search and email the posters
A small thread were two women prefer uncircumcised men. One woman received friction burns!! from circed men. Due probably to the much less sensitive penis head of circed men needing greater friction to ejaculate

This lady Nova on this thread has had many uncirced and circed partners and preferred uncirced partners.

i think it is something you should discuss with her. it's not very reversible so it'd reallllllly blow if she was not happy about it.
she married you as you are, so she must not mind it too much. sexually, it might look better to some people but it doesn't feel better or even much different. the biggest difference would be when she performs felatio... but that's more of a present for yourself than her ;-)

God your game!! There's a reason they do it to babies.. Its a personal choice. I personally don't care and it doesn't make any different during sex. If it's something you want to do then do it. It's your body and ultimately you are the one who has to live with it..

hmmm, why is it an anniversary surprise? you gonna hurt a lot and i don't know whether it's worth it. what if she doesn't like it? it makes no sexual difference and i personally think sometimes the extra skin part makes it cute. but that's my opinion. if you wanna do it, have fun with it!
