No way. Take for example the Detroit Red Wings, President's trophy winners last year. Where do they end up, out of the running in the first round. They out matched the Oilers in every way on the ice, but because the Oilers wanted to win and put in the intensity they almost won the Stanley Cup. No other sport has that, a loser team cannot muster up a little bit of giddyup and almost win (except George Mason). Hockey is the only place intensity of that level comes up.

The only sport that I've ever watched, that comes close to the intensity of Hockey, is Moto Cross. Nothing is as fast, bone crushing, spontanious, or real!! Now, if we can find a way to keep the Leaque, Money, and Corporate influences out of the game, we'll have it to watch for many more years. Eah!!!
