tighten all your hood bolts that hold it on to the arms and then look in the front of the hood on either side of the radiator, you should see an adjusting bolt with a rubber spacer on top of it, turn the adjuster on the passenger side out or in other words adjust it so it raises some and then close the hood and check it, if you still get the shaking on that side raise the bolt more until the shaking goes away.

The area youre describing seems to be a little vague...

Are you sure it's your hood, or maybe something under your hood?
If its your hood, you could have a loose or bad prop-cylinder.
But Id bet money the noise is coming from under the hood. Normally, something that goes away after a few minutes is nothing to be worried about, but..
Check your belt, and all your pulleys.

It is probably because your engine is one piston down. THis will cause more stress on the engine mounts and eventually it will break. Assuming that it is a pison down, all you have to do is replace your plugs and wires and if it stops then you good. If thats not the proble there is a knob at the fron of your grill that you can lift to put more pressure on the hood. All you have to do is lossen it a couple of turns. peace out.

Same thing happened to my '95 BMW 530i, it turned out to be a cracked radiator belt.
