Sound like she's either jealous of you or just plain nasty. I did have a friend like this and let me tell you, RUN. This is not what a real friend is like. Tell her one more nasty moment or comment on her part and you are no longer friends.

I dont want to come off as sounding insensitive but please stand up for yourself. Speak up for yourself, express your feelings. Dont let yourself get railroaded. This kind of trait of always forgiving someone that hurts you is not going to achieve anything but repetitive and negative behaviors. You fuel it by constantly forgiving her. Its really important that you develop this strength to deal with other people that are like this. If you dont have the strength to break loose verbally then by all means send her an email. Writing is an empowering to express your feelings and needs.
All the best@~

As you go along your life you realize who your real friends are and you realize that to have a healthy life you need to drop some of those frined that you feel are not contributing to your life poisitively, let her know that her behavior isn't gonna fly with you anymore either she gets a attitude adjustment or this friendship is over
there are so many good people in the world it doesn't make sense to waste your life with the bad ones
good luck :-)

The answer to your question is yes! Everybody has had somebody talking about them at some time or another, but at the end of the day it's really up to you. My only advice is that you need to think about whether she is really a friend or not. Has she been ther for you when you need her most? Hope i helped. Good Luck

yet frankly since u are still friends with her means that her positivity and friendship towards u far exceeds the negativity..
i say that u talk to her let her know that being sorry isn't doing the same thing over and over again and that u are hurt...
true friends talk about that ideas and events not others..

It depends on how much you actually like being around her. I probably wouldn't want to be friends with her, but I'm not you. I have friends that wouldn't stop talking about themselves but nothing as bad as yours sounds. Sorry, that didn't help very much.

You are not describing a friend. She sounds like she is jealous of you. This kind of person you don't need in your space. Nothing personal, just growing up and on.
