he is the right size: 6'4" 230lbs, and has arm strength and arm accuracy(not the best of either, but he has some) and he has been playing in a pro system under charlie weis.

no real talent? look, I'm not an ND or Brady Quinn fan by any means, but this kid has impressed me. Is it his fault he's never had a competant defense around him? 35 TD's and only 5 INT's in the regular season is hard to argue with....he has all the physical and mental tools to succeed in the NFL. I think Quinn will make more of an immediate impact than JaMarcus Russell will.

He might be a good pro player only time will tell, but I'm like you on this one. I'm thinking what in the world is he doing even being considered as a Heisman finalist. There are no Army and Navy's in the NFL. Jamarcus Russell should not have any problem adjusting to the NFL.Seems like he was up against a top ranked defense every week.

Another young man came from the same school: too slow, too small, should not even be drafted were what many of the professional reporters and analyst said well they started and with his help built a football dynasty in San Fran 49's. His name was/is Joe Montana simply the best. Never judge anyone or anything till you see what capable of becoming!!

He was the most prolific passer in college. He played under Charlie Weis, whose offense is a NFL style offense. He's the perfect size for a NFL QB. Need I say more?

I don't see any real talent in JaMarcus Russel.
Just being polite. I could say worse.
