It really doesn't matter because I have both, but usually I prefer my female gyno because she is easier to talk too and it feels more like taking to my friend instead of a doctor.

Definately prefer female gyno.
Guys don't have the same equipment I have, so its more comfortable for me to go to a female gynocologist.

I prefer lady OB/GYNs. i've got experienced the care of male OB/GYNs on 2 different events and my adventure with the two considered one of them grew to become into no longer good. I have a female one and believe me it isn't an easy job to be one...but did you know that sometimes the male gynecologists make more than the women ones, not always but I've seen it happen.

So far I always had a male gyno - to me its equally humiliating & very unpleasant experience

i feel more comfortable talking with a female since she goes through the same things with her body too
