Click on the TOOLS menu.
On the GENERAL tab, in the middle is an option to DELETE files. It is under TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES.
A window will come up and ask you if you also want to delete your offline content. If you do check the box, then click ok. You can leave the box unchecked and it will still work.
There is also a HISTORY section at the bottom. You can set the numbers of days to keep pages in history. I keep mine set to 0 to keep from wasting memory. You can also click the option for CLEAR HISTORY to clear your last pages visited.
When you are done, click ok
