It is said that the body temperature of reptiles and amphibians changes according to the environmental temperature. Does this imply that their body temperature is always the same as environmental temperature and they won't feel hot or cold?

They do feel hot and cold. If they didn't, you wouldn't see turtles sunning on a log, or iguanas warming on rocks at the sea. If they couldn't feel their temperature as too hot or too cold, they would never know when to come out of the cool water to warm in the sun. The need for heat in amphibians and reptiles stems from the requirement of heat its self to allow metabolism. Some creatures on our planet (mammals et al) have a metabolic process that generates heat on its own easily. Some creatures such as amphibians need an external source of heat to allow easier metabolism, but they do in fact have the ability to regulate the temperatures on their own to some varying degrees.

yes, reptiles do feel hot and cold. the term "cold blooded" means that they do not have a system to regulate their own body temperature. in order to maintain their body temperature, they are required to sun when they are too cold, or return to the water when they are too hot.

all cold blooded animals will be the same temperature as the ambient air.

if them are kept out in the sun they will die because they cannot cool off. same goes if they are out in the cold. They must regulate their body temperature by seeking shade when they are hot and seeking the sun when they begin to get cool.
