i just go to school to study, basically, i dont really pay much attention to how i dress and stuff but then like some ppl call me a nerd and i dont want to be called that though i know i shouldnt care i just dont want peope to think that i dont know how to look nice.. do u think a girl should always pay attention to her appearance, even in school? i'm always told that females must always look their best and it's like a pressure... i dont know, what do u think? share ur own experiences if u want, thanks!

i think u should dress nice, not necessarily skirts and dresses but cute jackets and capris or sumthing like that.

OK - i never let people tell me to mold my self to society. i guess this may or may not be strereotypical but... the basic need is to be CLEAN. take showers regularly... brush your hair... and wash your face.
you do NOT need to go out and buy a whole bunch of fancy or casual fancy clothes.. save that $ for college... i have alot of nice looking t-shirts and tops.. a bunch of jeans and even more track/athletic pants.... basically im a really sporty person, but occasionaly i'll wear a nice top which is like a track jacket or a pretty button down...
i wear pj's out in walmart.. you need to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that - if you like the way you look and dress, nuttin else should matter - and hold this attitude with confidence>>>> thas the key, w/e you wear... wear it like you OWN it.. and the rest will just fall in place...

Nah, you don't have to look great all of the time. I mean, teens are fricking petty, and they'll talk smack about anybody for any reason. Wait till you get to college. Half of the people show up in their pjs anyway, while the other half are still sloshed from the night before.

I don't think that you have to look nicely at school.
You just have to feel comfortable with what your wearing, as long if it's clean.

i can't say for real girls but i try my best to look as attractive as i can no matter what i'm doing or where i'm going. for me it's all about the men! lol!!
