Speed Up Computer and save money?

Ok well i use my computer for talking on microphone, Instant Messages, Music, Games, and other multimedia items.
Is there a way to spend no over $35 or free to speed up your computer?

increase your ram for sure defrag your hard drive, uninstall thinks you dont need. if you use system restore, and you have not restored for a while its probably collecting gig for nothing. Disk clean.

get more RAM at least 512MB then you be set!!!, remove older programs not in use, defrag, do a spring cleaning!
