Ok,people need to know that if they want to be equal, in the united states, then they MUST give up their culture. Thats not somtjing that we advertise but it is true. In order to be free of raceism and descrimination you must conform to the "no culture" of the U.S.

If each of us was to give up our cultures, then how would we be identifiable?

Just because you, live in the United States, doesn't mean you have to give UP your culture. There are such things as traditions, language, ritutals from many cultures families still have to keep their culture alive.

I don't find it true, how people in the U.S. have to give up who they are and where they came from just because they live in another country. You can still carry on what you believe and your own cultures tradtions and still speak your own language. The only thing you will have to learn is english; that's not "giving up" much.

I believe even in any country you cannot stop racisim and discrimination, that will be anywhere you go. Even if you are the same race as the other person, people will still discriminate you. You are not always going to be accepted in the world.

But the best you can do is make your mark and your place in it. Hold on to your beliefs, your culture, your language, and your morals. Everything will be fine. You are not forced to give up anything. No one is telling you to conform to anything and let alone FORCING you to. Discrimination is EVERYWHERE.

The U.S. is full of culture, this is a place for everyone. All different races live here. It's all one "mixing pot" as you will.

That is dead wrong! or at least in my belief it is, i am of the united states, and one of the best reasons that i like being from here, is that the united states is the land of mixed culture. You can learn about it so much here, unlike in other countries. One of my favorite subjects is culture!

Get off your high horse.

People must give up their culture?

And adopt your standards of ethics and conduct?

Who are you to sit back and point at people and tell them how to avoid discrimination, and what they "need" to do.

Maybe we all have something to learn from one another.
