I am writing form information to an access database. This information is sensitive and I do not want it to get out on the web. If my .mdb file is in the /fpdb folder in my webspace can someone else access it? The way I get it is just through ftp. I want the info to be safe.

If the folder "fpdb" is accessible from the browser users usually can download it. Here are a few ways to prevent this from happening:

1. If you are on Windows 2003 server- IIS restricts the access db from being downloaded by default.
2. Move the file to a folder that is not accessible
3. Set password for your Access db - so even if someone accidentally downloaded it, they wouldnt be able to open it.
