It really all depends on what the problem is, sometimes its just better to let them resolve it themselves and stay out of it.

You don't. Only they can resolve the problem. You are able, however, to encourage them to think about what friends are all about and how they behave.

Try to convince them to talk things out with one another, but keep in mind, that this is entirely up to them to solve. If you allow yourself to be put in the middle, you may find yourself in a feud with one or both of them. Good luck!
