I have tried to call my baby dr. to see if I should go to the hospital but her offive is already closed. I just want to know if this is normal or not. It is making me feel weak. My stomach and lower back hurt, not all the time. It just comes and goes...It kinda feels like period cramps...what do I do? and what do you think it is?

You could be going into labor! That's what it sounds like. Go to the E.R.! Or at least call the hospital and you can talk to a nurse there if you need a more professional opinion.

try calling the OB on call at the hospital. While doing that drink plenty of water and lay on your side. You could be tired just try to relax until the doctor tells you what to do. How has your pregnancy been this far? if you have anymore children were they preterm. Sometimes it can be early braxton hicks contractions or your baby trying to strech. I would still tell the doctor how you feel if this does not work. I had the same pain when I was pregnant, make sure that you dont have any discharge that you would be alarmed about. I hope that you feel better. Try and get plently of rest

I went into premature labor around 25 weeks and had the same thing you are explaining. I would go get checked out at the hospital if I was you to be on the safe side....They have stopped my contractions 5 times already I'm now 36 weeks. Due April 16th. Best wished to you and your baby.

ok, since you are only 24 weeks, they are probably braxtion hicks. If they are getting stronger, get stronger when you walk, getting closer together then its might be the real thing and you need to go to the hospital ASAP! But since they do feel like period cramps, I would go to labor and delivery to get checked out anyway! You can never be sure.
good luck

Its very normal to have both these pains in your back and abdomen. Your uterus is stretching and causes pains like period cramp. As long as they are not getting more intense in pain or closer together dont worry. It could also be braxton hicks which are like practice contractions they make you feel like you are having a cramp like feeling and a tightening of your tummy. Like i said unless they are getting increasingly painful dont worry. If they are go to the ER if you are really concerned. Good luck.

PLEASE GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM !!!!

Its better to go to the er and get checked since this is a weekend and you are feeling week... weekness is not a good thing when you are pregnant and having these kinds of pains in your back and abdomen.

You are in the last of the second tri mester and a prime canadate for premature labor at that time. So please, take the time and have someone take you to the er or call an ambulance...

Good Luck...

I'm sure everything is fine but do go to your docs as soon as for peace of mind more then anything.
it sounds to me like the growing pains you get as your uterus is expanding.
don't panic you get so many aches and pains in pregnancy its natural your body is going through a lot.
I'm 31 weeks and I'm starting to get fed up all worth it though.
good luck
