I really want a cell phone, but my parents won't let me. Any tips on how to get her to let me have one?

I had my first cell phone when I was 11 lol. Just tell your mom she'll be able to keep tabs on you when you're out with your friends, i'm sure she'll get you one then LOL.

Cell phones are an on going expense. Do you have a job and can make the payments every month? Have you taken into account that your parents can't afford this? Maybe you can get a job.

start of with someone giving you a phone and getting it activated. If they wont let you get it activated try talking them into letting you pay the bill. After a while if you show them your responsable to have a phone pretend to lose it. Turn it off for a while(about a week) and see if they will buy you a new one. If not,say you found it and keep using it.

Offer to buy it yourself. If you have the money that is. I'm in 6th grade and my mom doesn't think I need a cell phone but I do. I'm paying for it for like the first year or so until my mom thinks that I actually need one. That's why next year, I'm going to be in student council, drama club etc.

Don't worry my mobile phones broken so I need to buy a new one So I don't have one either. You can only tell them the advantages of a phone and don't push it. If they still won't let you, you can live without a mobile phone. Why do you need one anyway? If it's to chat with friends use a land-line phone, email them, messanger them or just talk to them when you met up at school or elsewhere. That's what I do without a mobile.

Depending on how old you are ask your parents if you can get a job so you can pay for your own cell phone.

Why don't you tell them about prepaid cell phones and if you are showing you are responsible with the prepaid one maybe they'll let you buy you a real one.

seriously, get a job and earn the money for it. You will make your parents so happy that you are starting to be responsible and take care of yourself instead of being a parasite from them. One day soon you will need to take care of yourself so start now and avoid the rush
