To anyone that plays guitar....what do u think is the best tuning...i can't get drop c ...it's too low....so anything else....idk what i should tune it to..i'm bored with drop d and standard...but should i play in drop d?

if your bored with drop d dont play drop d buy a set of strings for a seven string dont use the high e string tune the rest to pitch (B E A D F# B) if tht doesnt sound low enough drop it by half a step to (Bb Eb Ab Db F Bb) the only other tunings tht are any good are for slide stuff- like the old blues.

forget the strings, to get really grunk sound, string it with barbed wire. it's rough on the fingers, but the blood on the fretboard helps you slide thru the chords easier

try Dadgad from low to high strings.
