Near the top of the email there is the header options. Simple change the header to full and the IP address of the source is shown in the full header.

With Hotmail the same applies:

You need to go to mail options
Message tab
Header options
Full Header

You are looking for:

Just delete it or send it to the spam folder. The sending IP is meaningless due to the fact that most likely it is not the actual senders address, but rather the IP address of a hijacked machine or wireless network.

yes you can but it depends on what email client you're using in Outlook Express right click on the email click properties then click the details tab the info is in there

in OUTLOOK EXPRESS right click on the email in the inbox (dont open the email) then left click on details... what you seek is in there

then go to whois.com and look for information
