I'm transferring in as a junior and am double majoring in psychology and philosophy. Which should I choose & why?

Well, the question now becomes:

Would you rather live in Northern California? Or Southern?

All UCs are pretty good schools (I'm a UCD alumni myself).

What you might want to look at is how good the programs are...however, if you plan on working in psychology, it really won't matter where you complete your undergraduate work, because you're better off continuing your education and getting a masters or a doctorate.

But really, the basic question you should ask yourself: "Northern or Southern Cal?" BTW, I grew up in the Bay Area, and now live in San Diego...and I'm loving it down here!

How's UCSC in psych and philosophy? In general, UC Irvine has a much better rep. Might be a little easier to go on to grad school if you go to UCI.
