Yes my current pet sleeps on the floor in her bed.
I had NEVER had a dog sleep in my room before and when I first got her (rescue dog at age of 6yrs) she didn't sleep in our room but after 2 years and a new house she has decided that she MUST sleep in our bedroom

I have 3 cats the female sleeps in my daughters room in a drawer lol specially arranged for her after she was seriously ill and spent 8 days at the pdsa. Before that she slept in the windowsill/ledge. The two males sleep on my bed or 1 in the lounge and 1 on the bed, sometimes they sleep in the window they got blankets to sleep on there!
Also my youngest 1 comes and wakes me up when the alarm goes off ,he shouts at me but he gets on my daughters chest to wake her up n shouts in her face!

No but only because they are too noisy. I have 3 cats and one is still a baby and they come alive at night and race around the house so I have to shut them down stairs to get some sleep. They come up for a cuddle in the morning though when my girls let them upstairs.

No, my cocker spaniel has his own bed and sleeps downstairs in the kitchen. After his third birthday recently, I decided he was old enough to be trusted to now have the back sitting room so he sleeps on the sofa there. I would have him in bed with me but, the old man says no!.

oh my god, I'm the only bird person here but yes they do. they take turns, when i want to get out of bed early, my parakeets sleep in the room-there's not shutting them up in the morning-
sometimes 2 of my lovebirds, just to make sure they don't fight and every now and then my blue crown conure because he has the occasional night fright so i bring him in with me so that i can turn the light on quickly. and for all of you people who said your husband does, have some respect... pets actually listen to you and try to behave-lol-
