My father accidenly lost his balance (while climing up on a chair to get something) and fell on top of my African Grey only 4 months old. I took him to Animal Medical Center located in Manhattan for Trauma. I believe he died on the way there. the doc said he was already dead. But I thought I saw him still moving. although I know it was an accident I am having a hard time dealing with it.

Not usually if it is just damaged, and defiantly not if it is broken.

No, I have had birds that keep their heads twisted, and they are usually suffering from a virus.
