It is from 10:00pm to 6:30am, can anyone tell me if they have done it? I have never worked that shift in my life, I am 50. how hard and long would it take to get used too. is it easy? low stress? any one with these hours can answer, not just home depot people.
Do the hours go by fast, my brother said they did but he only worked til 4:00am those last 2-1/2 hours could be killer?
And I found out you have to do it for 90 days until they will even consider you for something else. daytime or 2nd shift no problem for me, but 90 days of Graveyard? Ouch!! Or I can tell the guy, and take a chance. I'll wait but thank you. because he told me I could wait and see if something else comes up down the road. It was my choice. BUT I know if you leave before the 90 days you are out for good! It is a tough choice.
any suggestions, or experience storys.
Thank you very much

Wayne, your 50,so was I when I worked Two-and-a-half years on the Freight Team for Home Depot. The schedule you have is what our team always asked for,but never got.We worked from 1:00am to 10:00am and the last couple of hours were the worst only because of the customers. The Freight team was basicly stocking the merchendice, making displays,&getting rid of the waste material(garbage),which was hard to do when customers were present because now you needed spotters&safety banners&you had to do 2 hours of customer service (which ment you could not stock 'cuz you were answering customer questions).Make the best of what they give you and remember those manegers will be watching you.Once your in the door and have proven to them you can take it for 90 days new doors will open up for you.Sure it will take some getting use to,but after 90 days you can make what you want out of it.
