The old adage "You can see but don't touch"
As far as I'm concerned if you are only flirting if that can be done over the internet and your not doing untoward i.e the seedier side off internet chatlines then it should be no problem and your not hurting anyone.

cheating is sorta relative. it certainly is straining your relationship.

You don't say if he is flirting, or talking "dirty" or out and out having orgasms. To some these distinctions would matter, to others they might not.

If I were you, I would not worry so much about the "cheating" and worry more about if my needs were met and if he was going to leave. And to what extent could you be doing something different to improve the relationship.

My answers to the above would then determine how much of a stink I would want to make about the Internet and/or leaving the relationship.

Absolutely.
Unless all parties are involved from beginning to end.
Two on one as it were (assuming the other end actually is one individual and not a paid shift worker who pecks keys
for a living along with 37 [?] other mediocre staff in India).

if you think its cheating then YES, i would consider that cheating why does he need someone else to turn him on and get him off when hes got you? try doing the same thing and see how he feels about it!!

RESPECT is the key word here. If he respects you and can empathize with how you feel, he wouldnt make excuses for his actions. He needs to practice some self restraint or else he wont be cheating online anymore, it will be the real deal- in the flesh. I personally wouldnt trust him as far as I could throw him. If you feel the same way, cut your losses and find someone who has similar standards as you.

Most normal people would see this as cheating and if it were my partner I would be as upset if they had gone out and messed with someone else in 'real' life. So, its a dumpable offence. Dump the rat.

Emotional cheating is the same thing and that is what sex chat is.

cheating does not have to be physical. mental and emotional count. the line ( but we never did anything) does not take away the hours that they spent thinking about doing something. if you cant beat them, join them. get yourself a little hottie with a web cam. see how he likes it. he cant complain if your playing by the rules he set.

i wud consider it cheating. If you do not know about it or do not agree with it then he is being unfaithful to you just as if he was confiding in another female instead of you then that wud be unfaithful too even tho sex had not happened.
