My husband and I just cannot get along. Partially because I am a nag and partially because he is a liar and a cheater. Despite our efforts we just can't get along. Things will go good for a few days and then BOOM!!! Everything explodes. We are both have had it "up to here" with our relationship and it is at a point to where it's time to shape up or ship out. We have been married for almost 3 years.

For all the couples out there that were on their way to divorce court but were able to work it out, what was the turning point? What did you do to work things out with your spouse? Was it worth your while to stick it out with your spouse?

My marriage is nothing like the one you described. You need to get a divorce, period.

It's not the arguing I'd be concerned with. The lying and cheating will keep your marriage headed for divorce. That has to stop first. If you can get that cured it just a matter of learning how to talk to each other. Just remember you need to listen half the time! If you try to talk continuously without allowing the other person their time to voice their opinion then you are merely talking to yourself.

Well, you're both going to have to be willing to change, and they key is BOTH of you. You're going to have to quit nagging him so much, and he's going to have to quit lying and cheating on you. I would reccommend marriage counseling ASAP if there is any hope of salvaging this marriage.

My husband and I about got divorced, but worked through our problems, with the help of a good marriage counselor. BUT...adultery was NOT one of our problems. That changes quite a bit for most people.

Your husband is neither sensible nor valuable, you at the instant are not in basic terms a co based, yet you reside in entire denial of the genuine guy or woman your husband is, a loser with out self administration and burned brains from alcohol. i might in no way handle the outcomes, i might handle what motives it in the previous it happens and artwork on fixing the priority or do away with whoever is inflicting the priority.

well for me and my husband it was when he left for Iraq. Since then our relationship has been perfect!! we talk on the phone, cards, emails, no fighting. I think when we both got separated we both realized how much we took for granted and it made us stop being so picky and mean to one another. A main point to realize is that you can't expect someone else to make you happy. Do it for yourself, don't blame anyone for your life if you're unsatisfied. I suggest separate vacations. It will work wonders, trust me.

BUT PS, IF HE IS CHEATING ON YOU, WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT HIM, LEAVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally wouldn't stay with someone that cheated on me. I can handle just about any other issue in a marriage but cheating.....no way.

You and your husband just keep putting a band-aid on a broken bone and it won't work.

Try marriage counseling....when you want it to work it will.
