Any tips that anyone has come up with whilst they have been saving for stuff? We are saving hard this year to get to florida, obviuosly working is the main point, car boots and ebay. Anything else ingenious anyone has come up with?

Dont buy named brands buy the cheaper onces, Dont put your heating on if its not needed.
I have mine of tonight..
And dont buy things you dont really need.. rather then go shopping on a sat because theres nothing else to do go for a walk in the park..
Im trying to save to get to OZ and thats what im doing

It sounds silly but get a notebook and wrote down everything you buy - even a small choccie bar!! That way you can see where your money is going. You'll be suprised how much money you waste on things you don't need. Writing it down makes you assess your purchases and think twice. It worked for me!! Good luck!!

hey friends of mine--saved cans,caught sales--shopped at thrift stores,,to go to florida--get a penny jar(really any lost changes throw in there)you;ll be surprised how it adds up--flight wise best to book on wednesdays--enjoy
