I noticed that. In highschool all the vietnamese, chinese, and japanese girls hang out and stay away from other races. Last time I went to the park these japanese people were there and they kept ignoring the black people that asked them questions cause they seem lost. It just occured to me and im curious...

then how was I born? Im half japanese. I know alot of kids who are half japanese and half black or white. I know one girl that is half japanese half mexican.
My high school was filled with kids who were half asian. So that makes me wonder where do you live? Do you live out in the middle of no where?
You probably dont live in an area where interracial couples are common. Go to California!

I'm white, and I dated a japanese guy. However, if the parents weren't born in Canada they have very strong family values, and what the father says goes. I worked with many Vietnamese people and I asked them questions like that and about arranged marriage and they all said that they would not be happy and would not accept their daughters or sons bringing home non-asian mates.

Culturally, a lot of races have a tradition to just sticking to their own races. Time and place has changed that over the generations to a large extent and it is the exception to the rule to find that anymore here in America.

Don't stereotype asians like that! Some members of all races act that way. But not all members. In fact, there is a white man in my house right now who's married to a Japanese woman.

I don't know. Maybe you need to get out more. I have Asian friends and they date other races. Perhaps it's the area you live in. Travel to DC, Northern VA, or Baltimore, MD.
