Number one- it's a Christian camp (i'm athiest, but overly pious 'rents don't know that)

Number two- I have another summer that I accually WANT to go to (and I AM going, this would be in addition to that)

Number three- My father wants me to go (it's near his house) says I "need to make friends up there" (bullcrap, but that's another discussion)

I would sooner sit in an NYC alley overnight than go, but that's not an option. If you agree with my parents on this, don't bother posting.

You could try reasoning with them. Tell them why you'd like to go to the other camp. Or you could just go to the camp they want...I'm assuming it's only a week long, and summer is a lot longer than that anyways. And who knows, you might actually like it...after all, it is camp.

If they insist that you go...Go and have "fun". I remember Christian cam...those "protected" church girls are freaks. Go get in trouble and then tell them that you didn't want to go anyways. They should know by now that forcing you to go to something like that isn't right. I should be up to you.
