If I am 15 weeks pregnant, how many months am I? This has always confused me. I thought there are 4 weeks in a month, so that would make me 4 months in one more week. But according to BabyGaga.com, I am already 4 months. Someone please give me a correct answer.

1 month - 4.5 weeks.
2 months - 9 weeks.
3 months - 13.5 weeks.
4 months -18 weeks.
5 months - 22.5 weeks.
6 months - 27 weeks.
7 months - 31.5 weeks.
8 months - 36 weeks.
9 months - 40 weeks.

If you work it that each month is 4.5 weeks, it works much better. It's true, most months are 30-31 days which is four weeks and 2-3 days per month.

So if you are 15 weeks, I'd say you are three and a half months pregnant.

Overall I find it easier to say in weeks....throughout my pregnancy I just said I'm 22 weeks, 30 weeks, 41 weeks, etc.

It works at the end though too as the average first time pregnancy is 41 weeks 1 day!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy, I hope all goes well!!!

A pregnancy is based on weeks not months. Months is a generality used to make the time seem shorter for exspecting mothers.
A normal healthy pregnancy is 37 to 40 weeks. There is no absolute ways to determine the exact date a baby will be born but an estimation is what we get.
I whats called Laymans terms, you are four (4) months pregnant according to tha scholastic calendar by weeks alone. However, at 15 weeks, in every day language, you are almost four months pregnant.
Remember, not all months have four weeks, and not all have five, so its a general time frame that is given us as we carry to term, 37-40 weeks, our babies.

Im a mother of six and was just as confused when I had my first child.

Good luck...

You are one week away from 4 months. I know its confusing. On a lot of pregnancy websites it was say you are in your 16th week when you are 15 weeks. When you have completed a week you are starting another. Like when a child is one and half, they really are into their 2nd year but they haven't completed it. So the website is saying you completed 15 weeks and in your 16th week so you are 4 months. Just go by weeks and 4 weeks = a month. I know pregnancy is very confusing!! Take care and congrats!!

They are probably just rounding, because if you are 15 weeks, and there are average 4 weeks in a month, then you are 4 months pregnant.

I might ask the LL if it is feasible to depart at the fifteenth with out paying the whole month. You have lived there for two years so you're most likely a well tenant so he possibly amenable for your request. Although all states besides CA require that hire intervals start at the 1st and finish at the final day of the month it is as much as the LL to bend the principles just a little. Good good fortune.

Measure your pregnancy in weeks. That is how the Ob/Gyn measures it anyway. Weeks since last period. When you are 15 weeks pregnant, it means you are 15 weeks since your last period. Most like you conceived the baby 13 weeks ago(most women ovulate apx 2 weeks after the start of their last period). Your due date is calculated as 40 weeks after your last period. Since the date of conception is rarely known, most doctors give you a 2 week window around your due date. This takes into consideration the differences of when a woman ovulates. To be most accurate in your pregnancy development, refer to your pregnancy in trimesters, which are seperated by weeks and measured from the first day of your last period. This helps a lot since our screwed up calendar allows for 30 days in some months, 31 in others, and 28 in Feb.....

Good luck to you and baby!

This all depends on your LMP. If LMP is correct and you know it for sure then you should be right. But if you don't know you're last menstral period (LMP) then the doctor is going to round off around the time you should give birth. The right way to know is to have an ultrasound that will tell you for sure. Trust me, I've had three girls so i should know what i'm talking about. Good Luck!
