Its ok, i didnt find it that funny, and i am a nerd. I dunno why everyone likes it, it is just so random and stuff.

Everyone is secretly a nerd. Everyone knows more than they should about a subject.
Napoleon Dynamite is a very well observed, very funny film without having to go for the obvious slapstick humour.

There are different "types" of humor. Different genres of you will. And it just so happens that the "type" of humor that Napoleon Dynamite is just appeals to younger people. Older people I know like it too.

Because they will go for anything thats not normal anymore. They think being retarded is fun and popular and cool.
I don't think they are nerds, some are brainwashed teens, others just think the movie is funny, and others are just like it CUZ ITS LYKE SO IN.

The ones who like it are.... or if not, then at least not those perky, glossy people in all the typical teen movies (Think Clueless, American Pie etc) and/or felt like an outcast at least once in their lives.

It's soooooooo stupid it's FUNNY HA HA HA but then again it wasn't I hated andloved it all at the same time. Mostly just plain stupid. and It hasn't been done before and we all have people like that at our school.
