I want to know this because someone told me this and i dont believe it. but i want to know before i try to burn anything

Yep, unfortunately most CD-R's and CD-RW's don't work in (most) CD Players, although certain ones can play them.

Yes it is true. It all depends on when the cd/dvd player was made. Most newer players can support it if the manufacturer decided to have the feature implemented. If you plan to use specific types of media on cd/dvd players...It's always good to ask what formats they support before purchasing. There are websites on the internet also that have a list of what formats each dvd player model supports...There are probably sites out their for CD players as well if you search via google.

yeah some don't work in cd players but a lot of the time you just have to play them a couple of time before you can use them in your cd player.

Hi. Most newer DVD and CD players can read RW media, but my older Toshiba does not. I would try it first!
