Oh to be 16 again...when all I had to worry about is whether my room was clean enough to be able to go out on Friday night!

At 31, I constantly worry about the bills, the kids, the car getting fixed, my husband being out of work (bulldozer fell on his foot), etc, etc, etc. It never ends.

Enjoy this time in your life sweetie because you'll never have it this good again.

I would give just about anything to be 16 again. I'm 47 years older than you. I reminisce on the good times when I was sweet 16 with a smile. I enjoyed every minute of those good years and I hope you will too. You are creating good memories for the future right now. Don't waste them, make them fun and joyful memories.

Everyone feels like they are getting old. But 16 is not old, it is just beginning. You're not even legally an adult yet.

And considering that life expectancy for a female is almost 85, well, you have a long, long way to go. The more you think you're old, the more you will feel old, and that isn't always a pleasant feeling.

what the hell is your porblem? what kind of a teenager are you? your supposed to be stupid when your 16. not worry about being old. you should be out beer bonging flasks of wild turkey and jumpin off a roofs. you should be comin to school in just your underpants and doin cartwheels down the hallways just to get a laugh. be dumb cause your still young enough where nothing happens when you get in trouble. the point of being young is make cool stories for when you older to look back on. you are barely old enough to even have a memory. so shut up, use your older sisters id to buy some hooch and start knockin over mail boxes and garbage cans youngen.

if your feeling old at 16, then i'm glad i won't be around when you turn 30.

16 is a good age. enjoy it while it lasts. don't get depressed. i was depressed when i turned 20. sad, but true.

your not old until you start feeling old. i have an 80 year old grandmother, riddled with arthritis and she is so spunky and keep herself active. she enjoys life. every minute of it. that is what you should do. fretting over mundane things, makes life horrible.

so have a sweet sixteen party, play your favorite music, hang out with your best friends, go to a movie, watch everyone's favorite movies, go cruising, go to the mall, go horseback riding, so something you've always wanted to do, make a video diary of your sixteenth birthday, take lots of pictures.

basically, get over turning sixteen. i wish i was sixteen again.

It's normal to feel depressed, that's a milestone age. Lots of changes coming up in the next few years for you. In my life things just got better with each year.

I just turned 50. And I'm young!
It's all a matter of perspective. Your attitude will determine the success you have in life. So yes, get excited . . . you have so much ahead of you!
