Legal!

LOL!! at the girl who is afraid she will get hit on by a lesbian. I am sure you are so hot that the lesbian will not be able to resist you.

Laughing even harder at the person who referenced the bible..i sure hope you follow everything in the bible, i love it when people pick and chose things they follow from the bible. Then use it as an excuse for intolerance.

If you are going to allow idiots like britney spears to get married, then annulled, why not let homosexuals that have been sharing their lives together for 20+ years get married.

Between a man and a woman arguments are ok with me, let them have their "marriage." Homosexuals should be given the same rights and they can call it something else. I never read anywhere in the bible giving all these rights to married people just because they were between a man and a woman.

Give equal rights, and you can call our "marriage" whatever you like.

Legal
Why, You ask? First of all, they are human too.

So the bible says different. ( I know thats what you Christians are thinking) but, Jesus said love one another like I have loved you.

Just imagine if you love someone and the world don't want you to be with them. Would you only love them more or would you just give up?

Miarage = (not all but a good bit of people) ok the one thing hetrosexuals take for granted and throw away cause they have a crush on another person of opposite sex, and throw away a longer relationship .

Some say Homosexuallity is preversion = Why just because it aint your life style.
Alot of people say that gays rape or molest = wrong in most casses they are mostly said to be hetrosexual. MARRIED Hetrosexuals.

As far as the guys that hit on other guys in locations like certain parking lots and places that alot of hetrosexuals get encountered are more than likely by married hetrosexuals hiding from normality by doing it another city far away from home.

The homosexuals that would like to get married are the ones that are monogamous.
Better than I can say for alot of married hetrosexuals.

I am one happy married guy and my wife posted on this question before me, her screenname is critterlady.

I feel it should be legal.

We, as humans, should all be treated equally....whether man or woman, black or white, straight or gay. To treat someone differently just because they don't act the way you want, or look the way you want is bigotry, plain and simple.

My 2 best friends are life partners........they have been together for over 13 years now. They considered going up to Massachusettes to get married, but decided not to, since Alabama (where we reside) would never accept their marriage. Ironically, out of all the people I know, they have been together longer than anyone.

What can I say.......I'm all for treating others as I would wish to be treated. Hmmmmm.....the golden rule......who would have thought????

By definition gays cannot be "married" because there must be one boy and one girl, BUT All marriage really is legally is a binding of finances. I believe if the government finds another way to bind two individuals finances in the same way marriage does, I believe there will be no trouble. And homosexuals can call that what they want to. Everyone's happy.

Question: "What does the Bible say about gay marriage / same sex marriage?"

Answer: Before we look at gay marriage / same sex marriage, first we have to remember what the Bible says about homosexuality. The Bible clearly and consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). God does not create a person with homosexual desires. A person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of his or her own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for them to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.

legal. Just because they're gay doesn't mean there not people and they should have the same rights as everyone else. What if the world were the other way around?

If you are pro-family, you should support gay marriage. There are too many orphans who could use a family, even if it is two men or two women.
The sanctity of marriage has become a joke anyway. The only people in this country who are fighting for it to be a sacred bond are the gays. Since they can't have it, they appreciate the concept more than straight people who are often married multiple times.

well I do not believe that gays want really wants to be married but the rights granted to married couples around the world by the judicial systems. Therefor i don't believe that gay Otto be asking for marriage right, but if they can fight for civil union's rights witch every individuals do have.

it should be legal, in my opinion.

first of all, it is of none of our concern what other want to do or with who they want to do it with.
just because they don't like the opposite sex doesn't mean they should have rights taken away from them... they're still americans, that hasn't changed.

second, a lot of people are against gay marriage because of their beliefs in god, but the truth is, god loves ALL of his children... that doesn't exclude gay people.
also, some gay couples don't want to go against the religious laws, they just want to be recognized as a couple that love each other.

I think it should be as legal as marriage between two straight people. Lots of straight people marry when they shouldn't, so what's the difference? We're supposed to be such an advanced nation, but it seems some people act like they're living in the stone age...
