To be objective is just not possible, in my opinion, when people base their opinions on their experience with the facts that they have chosen to see.
Opinions are like...
And everyone has one..

Interesting question. I'd like to know what your definition of unbiased is? Is there such a thing as an unbiased perspective? I think it depends on the issue/topic/subject matter, and in what context/circumstances one is being asked for an unbiased perspective. What you might consider, unbiased, someone else might consider biased, and vice versa. I suppose if the person who is being asked for their unbiased perspective has nothing to gain---or lose, then it might be possible, but I think that, by and large, "an unbiased perspective," is going to be subjective and therefore, biased. For every person that would conclude someone has given an unbiased perspective, there will be someone else who will conclude that it's biased. So no, probably not.

I imagine, a few years ago, that many of the people sitting on the balconies of their lavish Southeast Asia vacation condos, sipping drinks with little umbrellas in them, and enjoying the view of the ocean, more than likely had an unbiased perspective of that experience. And I imagine, those folks that survived the Tsunami that came and changed their lives forever, now have a more biased perspective of that experience. Agree?

No, but people like to think so. But I think that almost every thought we have is influenced by a past experience or something someone said to you...know what I mean? I hink that we can never have an "unbiased" perspective on anything.

Rather hard to believe in that because each individual will think how they want to think based on their life experiences. You get treated badly by your parents you later may think that ok this is the way I have to be myself to survive. Or possibly you do the opposite from what you went through!
