I think NASCAR has way less talent among the drivers. With the exception of a few, all they do is turn left. I doubt many of them could even handle an F1 car. Not to mention the technology in NASCAR compared to F1 is no comparison. Maybe there is more passing and wrecks in NASCAR, but that doesn't make it better racing.

All F1 is really is a bunch of overpriced, high powered go carts. I wanna see that Schumacher guy finish a race (in the top 5 no less) with half the front end of the car missing. Oh wait can't do that, one bump and F1 cars are pretty much done for the day. Yes NASCAR runs ovals mostly, but doing that for 250-600 miles with out assistance from the car in steering or anything like that's gotta be rough. Besides I've never driven a Ferrari or McClarren but I've driven plenty of Chevys, Fords, and Dodges.

Why does everything have to be a contest? Why do NASCAR fans think because someone watches another race series they are @ssholes? I like almost ALL forms of racing.(except DRIFTING --THE PRO WRESTLING OF MOTORSPORTS)I have my favorites, but I'll watch damn near any kind of racing.I can see why NASCAR fans hate F1,they're jealous of F1's WORLD exposure and it pisses them off that the REST OF THE PLANET doesn't care about their STOCK CARS.F1 fans are arrogant and think all NASCAR fans are a bunch of inbred hillbillys. My FAVORITE is INDYCARS--HELL,EVERYBODY LIKES ONE BETTER THAN THE OTHER.JUST BE A RACE FAN AND SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

F1, because with NASCAR all you really get race after race is "Left a bit, left a bit more.... straight on.... left a bit......" + start behind a pace car.
With F1, you get 22(ish) Cars pumping out around 800-900bhp at 17,000RPM doing a drag race off the line from a standing start. (they can accelerate from 0-120-0MPH in under 5seconds).
When overtaking, in NASCAR they usually either cruise past or slingshot.......... Formula1, lots more skill & brains, like this move Alonso put on Schumacher in Hungary last year:

AND they come out to play when it's wet

They circuits are also MUCH more interesting, such as Monaco, Monza, Silverstone, Nurburgring, and best of all...... SPA-FRANCORCHAMP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAmbIdwcmSo

Nascar
Pros
-more races (43)
-limited contact
-more physical racing
-equally matched cars
Cons
-slower cars
-too many oval track (only 2 or 3 road tracks)
-red necks
F1
Pros
-Fast cars
-complex tracks and surfaces
-less restrictions on technology
Cons
-less races
-less coverage in the US
-Snotty Euro-trash
Over all i like F1 better, but nascar is not totally bunk.

NASCAR definitely better cuz it is more racing all the time, compared to F1 without a JACKMAN or any of that. Soon, F1 won't even need a pitcrew jeez.
