How to do I get a respectable agent?

I want to act as my profession, so I need an agent. Does anyone know any talent agencies that won't scam me?

To find out if you have a legitimate agent, contact by telphone or e-mail, The Department of Labor, in your state, and ask if the agent is legitimate and allowed to represent actors.

Always confirm with The Department of Labor, for your state that the the Talent Agent is legitimate.

look up who the really good actors,/ performers ects have and try to reach them.
