8. I've always wanted to play the violin or the piano. In fact, I've always wanted to learn Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata on the piano.

11. I love music and think its essential to life. It is a great way to express emotion or invoke a feeling.

15. yes, many. I was in several concerts in middle school and high school. Also, my former roommate was a music education major and he played quite a few instruments. I went to go see him perform many times. He plays the tuba and sings baritone.
16. Yes, my ex-roommate of a year and half (who plays the tuba), his girlfriend (who plays the saxophone), and one of my closest friends is an awesome guitar player.

18. Yes, music affects everything because its presence is everywhere and it is constantly evolving. Its audience is shaped by the style of the performers and the tone of the content.
19. It has given something to identify with and a past time to enjoy.

18-is music affecting our generation?and explain why. I believe that music reflects our generation, it doesn't really affect.
19-in what way has music affected you? It is a good stress reliever, it opened me up to new people (I met friends through it), I use it to change my mood or go with my mood, It's a good motivation when working out. Don't know if that is answering that question.

Female, 57, yes, Country, rap, rock oldies jazz - used to play- piano Would like to play guitar. Don't go to a music instrument store- love music good for the soul - listen everyday - no books about instruments - just because - recitals when younger - yes - drums guitar, piano, organ, Music always affects society and itreflects society. I am a dance teacher/dj - it has been my source of income for 20 years and is one of the more guiding forces in my life.
