On a standard IQ test, 131 is on the high side of average. Bear in mind that Internet IQ tests are designed to lure people into buying products that they sell. They are intended to massage your ego.
IQ tests are used by many people, like the professor above, to make themselves feel superior. For instance, despite his pomposity, he can't even correctly join two complete sentences together with a conjunction. Sorry professor, but there must be a comma before the conjunction in that case. The rule helps us know to expect a compound sentence.
In reality, many people with high IQs never amount to much.
Your success in life has a lot more to do with your character, persistence, and work ethic than IQ.

First off, it is "I scored a 131 on an IQ test". Other than the obvious Internet/professional controversy, I doubt you are very intelligent because you have no comprehension of the meaning of the score. This is speculation of course, but I have a feeling my assumption is correct. If you want a ballpark figure, take a test at tickle. I realize that those tests aren't accurate. If you happen to score above 160, you are most likely of superior intelligence. Once again, a ballpark figure. I will say that since the average score is about 120, and it has apparently been inflated, most people will not score above 160. If tickle has measured correctly, a score of 168 on the super IQ test means you have surpassed 99.9% of all tickle test takers( 168 is the ceiling). That percentile correlates with a 145 on a SD15 Stanford-Binet test. I hope that puts things in perspective for you.
To the first answerer of this question, a 156 SB is much higher than the top 2%, so I highly doubt you scored this as you cannot correctly read a percentile chart.

you are well above average. This means your abulity to perceive with understanding is very high. And your wisdom to attain what you do is high also. Make sure you envolve yourself with others with same IQ above 110 or higher if not your IQ will fall If your are around people with too less you will be misunderstood.and loose your IQ

On the Stanford Binet test, that's probably about average or a little above. Mine is 156 on the Stanford Binet, and that puts me in the top 2%.
Other tests use different scales. A score of 36 on another test is in the top 2%.

well 131 is pretty good but it actually depends on which I.Q T test u have taken and on which site..................most of the sites on the net give very easy I.Q tests so u couldn't be sure about your score.................all i want to say is keep learning more and new things and never be overconfident .........................best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah. but what kind of I.Q test did u take? on the internet or like professionally? the ones on the internet aren't that acurate. (or however you spell it!)
