I can guess who's got it! The borrowers, you know the fairy people who take all those odd earrings and bits and pieces! Not sure how they use an earring but they never bring them back! I've a lot of odd ones if you'd like to try and make a match!

It went down the drain of your bathroom sink. Everytime I lose an earring, I go under my sink, unscrew the drain, and there's my earring. That's happened about, 50 times.

Check your purse if you have one - mine has fallen off into my purse many times without my knowing it. (probably while I was rooting around in it looking for something else).
I have long hair and sometimes they fall out and caught in my hair too.
OR down my blouse and caught between da ta-tas in my bra! LoL
