I have a 04 Chevy Trailblazer and there is a exhaust leak?

I have a 04 Chevy Trailblazer with the Inline - 6, there is a exhaust leak coming from near the exhaust manifold, Do these have problems with the manifold leaking or is it more than likely the gasket? So do I need to replace the gasket or both the gasket and the exhaust manifold? I know these have issues with this part of the exhaust system.

Have you gone to the dealer? I'm not positive, and it maybe different where you live, but the dealer has to warranty emissions parts for 7 years. (I checked online and some sites say 5, some say 10, but I have always heard 7 for emissions may be different for different cars or something) I would think the exhaust would be included. Again, I don't know for sure but I would find out.
Unless of course you want to do it yourself...

If you ahve an exhaust leak you will hear a tapping and blowing sound. This is an easy fix. Exhaust leaks are usually between the headers and the pipe exhaust itself. ITs like a 4.00 piece, change that. Just becareful when you loosen the bolts and use lots of wd-40. The piece you are looking for is egg shaped circular sometimes they are metal or gasket.
