My question is WHAT is everyone's obsession with this question? You're about the eightieth person to ask it. Thumbs up for asking "what are the dreams like" instead of "do blind people dream?"

Everyone dreams, or they'd go insane. Proven fact. But it's true that if you've been blind from birth you don't have visual imagery to draw from. In fact you couldn't even conjure it up because quite often there's something amiss with the visual center of the brain, meaning it's not just the eyes that prevent signt.

If you've never had sight you dream in sounds and touch. The content of dreams isn't much different from everyone else's though. I have some sight and dream in the same amount of sight that I actually have. I am told, however, that my tendency to dream vividly and to include all my senses into my dreams is a little unusual. I've dreamed in taste before.

Anyway what a lot of people don't realise is that complete and total blindness isn't really common. Most blind people see SOMETHING. It just might not be precisely useful. Whatever someone sees, that's how their dreams will look most of the time.

I can not talk from enjoy, however I could assume they could dream like any individual else, experiencing average and/or amazing parties, most effective there could be no unconscious creativeness of sight seeing that there under no circumstances used to be the mindful enjoy. People who have been blinded later in lifestyles might dream with sight nonetheless.

maybe it's more along the lines of what do blind peoples dreams sound like. if they were born blind, then the only senses they have ( u know, taste, smell, hearing, touch) are the only senses they could have to dream about

They don't dream (No visual imagery.)

That is, if they were born blind. People that go blind later in life dream normally.

The brain can still probably conjure up fantastic images based on what you hear, smell, taste and touch.
