Seems like this is a very important party for you. If it is really that big (like one of those when we all say "I need to lose 15 pounds by Friday") and you are out buying just the right brand new undergarments, new shoes...the list goes on and on.
If it is that kind of party, then I would go and have it done by your stylist as a practice run, before the real thing. Can you just imagine the pressure if it did not come out the way you wanted!!!!??? Make the practice appt. for a day that you are maybe going out with the girls for dinner. That way it is not wasted and you get the benefit of their opinion.

Go for it, but know that I had my hair curled for my wedding- I have very long straight hair naturally.. It took like six washes to get all the product out of it. LOL

your naturally beautiful but some times it fun and cool to get a pro to do your hair. so go for it partys don,t come often,have fun.
