Not a bad draft, which is your starting point. To be honest, I would probably package a SP with Roberts for a stronger OF, or an SP with Teahen for the same type of player. This is just in case Delmon Young goes through some tough times, you can sit him until he comes around. He is too unproven to count on to help you win a title. If he comes through - GREAT!! But you have to have a contingency plan with young players in your lineup, or you could sink like a rock.

Good speed, decent power, strong enough SP's, Torres is not gonna be worth much though - I'd cut him for another closer if any available (Dotel will surprise). Also, Weaver is now down til mid-April - keep an eye on him. If there is an owner in your league who loves the guy, now is the time to make a deal. Who picked him up last year? That owner would probably be willing to pay more than many others.

Here's my number one secret. Ready? Put RP's in the P slot as well as in the RP slot. Why? Because you rarely have more than two people starting on any given day, relievers pitch usually half the time, and they put up WAY better numbers than pitchers. Your pitching is decent overall...another thing I like to do is have minimal bench hittesr (I'd probably keep one or two in your case) and have a ton of starters, to insure that I get a lot of starts (meaning more wins). Of course, don't pick up a crappy starter for the sake of having one. Also, as a prospect I'd pick up Wes Littleton...don't put him in any pitching duty yet, he's either gonna be a beast or a bust (he's an RP).

Let's take a look at batting...
Ramon Hernandez is an OK option at catcher, but is Mike Piazza available? He still counts as a catcher, but is a DH so he will have nice numbers. If you want to sacrifice a little power and get a higher average, Russell Martin of the Dodgers will hit around .300 this year. Or if you want power, but no average, David Ross might hit close to 25-30 HR, with a .250 avg. Berkman is great at first base, probably the third or fourth best one out there. Nice power numbers. Keep Iguchi in case Kinsler gets injured, or proves himself not that great in reality (he is still unproven), but i'd start him. Glaus is pretty good for third, Reyes probably 2nd best guy for fantasy this year. Good steals, high average, and some power, he has it all. Rios is my man...i'm hoping for a 5 category superstar this year, he certainly has the potential. Great at pretty much everything. Bay is good, better than Dye, he'll do good and Delmon Young is a great young prospect, bet you didn't have to use a high pick on him anything 10th round or below was a steal for him. I'd put Overbay in Teahan's place for utility...he hit .312 last year with 22 HR and nearly 100 RBI.

Pretty good team overall though, maybe a third place finish?

watch for players who will replace struggling/hurt closers and use them. you'll want to make sure you don't use the worse pitchers against good offensive teams if your league has a maximum number of innings pitched. see if you can trade Glaus to someone who needs homers because that is the only thing he will do for you- hit homers. I would start the season with Roberts starting instead of Young until you see how he is going to play. Overbay is very underrated- see if you can get a trade for Berkman (only if it's a good trade though) and play Overbay because he's very consistent. You might try to trade some of your extra hitters like Huff at the beginning of the season if they are playing well.

This is a good team overall.

Pitching - overall looks good. Could make a trade for a stronger RP, add to Ryan and Torres.

Hitting - Get rid of Teahen and pick up Alex Gordon, just named Royals starting 3B. Rookie phenom. This year's Ryan Howard. Also get rid of Huff and Rios better yourself. Look for antoher 1B and use Berkman in the OF. Need OF's.

solid. i'll give it an 8

your hitting is a bit light though. but you have a lot of young players who will put up fair numbers . you have plenty of steals. and i say overbay will hit close to 30 bombs this year and hit 300 hun or close to it-as always.

your pitching is strong in that your starting 2 pitch a lot of innings and give nice numbers alone to help you in a league. your reliving is very good. last few pitchers are good as well.

what i like the most about your team is that you have multiple guys who play mulitple positions.
