No shock finalists, no surprise.
I guess, the final is South Africa vs Austrlia.
And South Africa is going to win.
But for tonight, I'm glad Sri Lanka won.

I'm guessing the Super Eights will be England, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Ireland, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the West Indies (although I wouldn't be surprised in it was Kenya instead of England) and Ireland, Bangladesh and Kenya were never expected to get past the first round! I see no reason why their luck cannot continue, with nearly half the super eights teams a "shock" already the final is unpredictable.
Although, most people predicted that at least one of India and Pakistan, the 3rd and 4th best test nations in the world, would be in the final and they have both been knocked out in the first round! For some people this will mean there will definately be a "shock finalist" as the favourites have been dispatched.

I think srilanka,australia,southafrica have got a fair chance to be in the final.Pakistan was not in great form so its not very surprising to me that they r out of the tournament though it was kind of shocking 'cos they were beaten by ireland.the kind of hype india got i think its totally media hype..their bowling attack is too weak to be a hot favourite.Bangladesh has shown some fighting spirit.Westindies gonna make it to semifinal but not more than that.

No. I reckon Australia, South Africa, Newzealand and Srilanka will reach the semis [or it could be westindies instead of srilanka] Any of these 2 may play the final
