The series is ongoing. He hasn't died yet and it doesn't look like he will be anytime soon.

of course, everyone eventually dies lol. But, i doubt Kishimoto has any plans to draw Sasuke's death yet...it would nearly be as bad as Naruto or Kakashi dieing lol. It would kill Naruto's dream to get him back, and thats what is driving him at the moment.

Haha... i don't think so... the storyline would be completly die if he were to die. Since that whole shows main focus is getting him back from Orochimaru (i.e. Naruto Shippuden) It doesn't really concern Naruto anymore.
