All depends, if it is someone your goin out with then my advice would be: avoid her for a while to let her cool down (like you would wait for a kettle to finish boiling before using the water) and then approach her. It would help if you have thought of a strategy to filter the conversation in order to prevent an arguement. If you feel this won't work maybe send her a card as she can't ignore it or a letter (not a text or e-mail) and go to some trouble to get her a lil presie. Convince her to take a walk with you then walk to her favourite spot. This may give a feeling of romance. you must be quite intamate in the way you talk to her and gentle. Convince her that your a good guy. you get the jist. If this girl is someone you fancy then find out something she likes, a movie something to spark a conversation, remember be casual. Then talk about something else but briefly, as girls don't wanna listen to a guy who waffles on about something she doesn't care about. MAKE SURE IT IS ALL RELEVANT!!! good luck

If you are afraid bec. she's bad news, then all you have to do is avoid her and put in your head that she's no good for you. However, if this fear of getting emotionally hurt is your own fear, then you need to decide whether this girl is worth getting to know or not. Sometimes you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the ones you did. We all have fears of getting hurt but most of the time, the happiness we feel with another person overweighs the pain. Take a chance, you never know what might happen. It might bring you a lot of happiness...taking chances is what life's all about! Enjoy the ride... and overcome your fears.

Of course not. How do you know for sure you're going to get hurt? You don't. And, by avoiding her, you could be missing out on a potentially wonderful relationship.
Think about it, if people did nothing but worry about potentially getting hurt, everyone would sit at home all day every day in bed and never ever move because they're afraid they "might get hurt." No one would cook, because they'd be afraid of starting a fire and burning themselves. No one would drive, because they'd be afraid of crashing. The list is endless.
People who go through life worrying end up living sad, miserable, depressed, reclusive, lonely lives. Think about it. Is that how you want to live?
With that being said, go for the girl. It's the only way to know for sure. You don't want to spend the rest of your life wondering. And if things don't work out, big deal. You pick up and move on with your life.
I hope I helped, and best of luck to you.

Yes, if you already know that the girl will hurt you, why would you want to put yourself through something like that. The best thing is to avoid her and move on to someone else

You shouldn't completely avoid them, but it might be an idea to give them some space. Talk to them about how you feel, and hopefully there wont be any fights or tears. I suppose girls do have the ability to be evil in a non-physical way, but we do listen (usually) and discussing the problem might help.

No. My hubby was terrified of being emotionally hurt. He's built walls to avoid getting emotionally attached to any person in his life. But finally he let himself learn to trust me and let me in and we fell in love and are now married and very happy. Moral of the story: It's scary, but you'll never find that happiness until you take the chance of getting hurt. As Mark Twain put it: "20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream."

love is about taking chances. If you are unable to take a chance and feel you may be hurt, you will be alone the rest of your life. What you should be worrying about is......Is she a good person who could make you happy? Do you find her attractive? Do you have things in common?

Isn't life all about taking risk. In any relationship you have that chance of getting hurt. Make honesty the most important thing in your relationship and take it from there. Good luck.

you'll never know what happens till you get with that girl...you may be pleasantly surprised....don't go into a relationship feeling this way, if you want to be in a happy relationship you must stop thinking that your gonna get hurt...go with the flow and enjoy it and stop worrying about things that are not there

Answer: No. Take whatever happens and value it.
Feelings are useful tools to help us understand who and what we are ~ and if we have any brains, to help us learn about ourselves and other people.
Don't walk away from possible futures
without first being sure that you have nothing to learn from them.
