I got stitches yesterday and I was not supposed to change the bandage or get it wet for 3 days. Basically, I was supposed to leave it completely untouched, but today in the shower my home-made saran wrap and tape gor loose in the shower and the bandage was soaked! I took it off as soon as I found a larege bandage to change it with.
I called my doctor but the office is now closed for the entire weekend and I don't know who to ask. Does anyone know if I did the right thing and if I will be okay?

You should be fine. The fact that you changed the bandage quickly is what is important. It's more about leaving a wet bandage on for a long period of time than about getting it a little wet in the shower. Just be careful and use good common sense like you did and it'll be fine.

yes you did the right thing it is better that you put a dry bandage on it rather then leave the wet one on there dont worry just keep an eye on it and be careful.
