What types of everyday shoes (other than sandals) and socks look good with puka shell snklets?

Pretty much no anklet looks good while wearing socks. Sandals - from casual flip-flops to sophisticated strappy heels - look best with ankle jewelry. Puka shells are fairly casual in and of themselves, so the more casual the sandal the better they match. For a sportier look, ankle socks (the kind that don't show) with a low-cut tennis shoe can work as well.
